Women of Grace
The Women of Grace at Grace Fellowship desire to equip women to successfully meet the day's challenges in godliness and Biblical wisdom. Our vision is to provide events throughout the year focused on spiritual growth through the word of God, building relationships and ministering to women in our sphere of influence. We offer the following:
Weekly Bible Studies:
Weekly Bible study is a priority offered on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Several topics are offered to give women a choice of study. To register for an upcoming Women's Bible Study, please contact Martha Cahoon at mcahoon@graceathens.com.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers):
MOPS is for mothers of preschoolers who desire to make new friends and are looking for an open, accepting place for practical help as a mother and spiritual hope. MOPS meet the first and third Wednesday of each month throughout the school year. For additional information about MOPS, CLICK HERE.
DivorceCare:
DivorceCare is a support group of people who are experiencing separation and divorce. You will learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Widows Ministry:
This ministry is designed to reach out with the love of Christ to the widows of Grace Fellowship and the surrounding community. They enjoy planned meetings for interaction and building relationships.
Prayer Shawl Ministry:
This ministry offers a unique opportunity for women that enjoy crocheting or knitting to meet once a month to pray while they work. The product of these meetings results in prayer shawls that are given to men and women in need of extra love and encouragement in their lives. Those that are grieving, have trauma in their lives, or the exciting birth of a baby are the recipients of this loving gift covered in prayer.
